Tortilla Tamale Caserole | Dinner


  • 1 package of tamales [8] (your choice of chicken, port, beef, or vegetarian)
  • 1 jar Canyon Foods Tortilla Soup
  • 1 bag (16 ounce) Frozen Steamable Spanish rice
  • 2 cups Mexican blend cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Coat 9x13 casserole with nonstick spray (optional)
  3. Remove husks from tamales
  4. Empty rice into dish
  5. Cut tamales into bite size pieces, add to dish
  6. Shake tortilla soup and pour over dish
  7. Top with cheese
  8. Cover with foil
  9. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until bubbles

Optionally bake a little longer without foil to crisp the top of the caserole
